Henderson

Easter brought many folks “home”, sharing memories, attending home church, refreshing grave flowers and shrubs, visiting on the road and enjoying wonderful home cooked meals.

Many wisely foolish folks took the plunge on April Fools Day in aid of Kennebec Recreation and we thank the hard-working organizers for all their efforts and of course the participants- you all rock!

Our next exciting event happens on Mon. April 8 with the total eclipse of the sun and folks are wisely picking up free solar eclipse glasses from the library for safety. We will let the sun shine in and through them while listening to “The Age of Aquarius”. Day will turn to night, temperatures will drop, animals will get frightened and darkness will turn sunlight into night. It’s suggested to monitor pets from the harmful rays and sudden darkness of the eclipse. Be sure to watch it, as the next total one isn’t expected to happen for 375 years!!
