The main source for our travel articles is reports from residents who have taken trips to interesting places. As an incentive to write about your travels, we make the following offer. The NewsWeb will contribute $100.00 towards the meal of your choice in exchange for a story about your travels. It works this way: first, you contact us and get approval in advance. Then when you are travelling, you choose your restaurant (keeping in mind the $100.00 subsidy), and pay for it (cash or charge). When you return, you give us the article and we give you the $100.00.
If you want to spend the $100.00 another way, that would be fine -- as long as we agree to it. Of course, we welcome unsubsidized travel reports.
