On the Road in The Land O'Lakes David Brison I'll get to a different part of the region each week to briefly report on what interests me and in turn will, I hope, appeal to you. I'll not be looking for big news stories (if I do find a big story, it will be reported in other sections) but for people who, in their everyday life, are doing something out of the ordinary -- what news people often refer to as human interest stories. These everyday occurrences, taken together, give the region a distinctive flavour -- which over time I hope to convey through these columns. Whenever I describe this column to residents of The Land O'Lakes, they tell me, You should talk to ..., who is hidden out in the bush and doing something that is not only unusual but of great merit. You can keep those suggestions rolling by contacting me at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The first three On the Road columns are good examples of what will come:

* A Railway Museum in-the-Making (Nov. 26/99) * The Kaladar Hubcap Place (Nov. 8/99) * On the Lakes (Malcolm, Ardoch) with Laurel Grills (Nov.12/99)
