The 19th annual RocknRoll Toy Drive is set for Dec. 1 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Sydenham Legion and organizer/musician Tom Revell says they have five bands lined up for this year’s event.
“The doors open at 8 p.m. and that’s when the first band will go on,” Revell said. “This year we have Jack and the Boys, Little Betty, Still Standing, Dark Horse and Project 29.”
Tickets are $20 each and are available at the Sydenham One-Stop and the Legion.
“And if you’re from far away but still want to come, contact either myself or Rebecca Wager via our Facebook pages and we’ll put some away for you,” Revell said.
As usual, the evening will feature a silent auction, door prizes, 50/50 draw and a light buffet served at 11 p.m.
All proceeds go to the Verona Christmas for Kids campaign (which services all of South Frontenac) and the Sydenham Relief Fund, he said.
