It's time once again for the Addington Highlands Community Builder Award. This award is presented to the person who has worked toward making Addington Highlands a better place for us all, either socially or economically...or both.
Despite its name, it is not a "Builders" award, for people in the construction business, but a "Community Builder" award for those who have taken a keen interest in Addington Highlands, whether it be running any AH business or belonging to a service club that is active in the community.
Nomination forms will be available at selected Addington Highlands businesses, or you can contact Larry Pealow at the Pine Grove Motel in Northbrook by phone or fax. 613 336-2522. The deadline is Saturday November 14.
The winner receives a beautiful trophy and their name on a plaque, which is hanging on the wall just outside of the Township office in Flinton. The person nominated does not need to live in Addington Highlands, but the person nominating must be an AH resident either full time or seasonal. Former winners are Andy Anderson and Werner Lips.
Nominate a deserving person for the Addington Highlands Community Builder Award before November 14!
