Tables were full and bellies were full. We had 52 participants at our first Euchre and Chili event held at Storrington Lions Hall on Sunday January 26. Experience was not necessary at this event as each participant was partnered with someone new at each table when switching up.
Lion Bob announced the winners for High Score, Low Score and Lone Hand. All prizes were donated by the community. Thank you goes to Paradiso Pizza in Inverary for supplying a gift certificate to one of our winners. Other prizes were donated by the Lions Hall which included gift certificates to our next event, which is Chicken and Biscuits being held on February 15, 5pm-7pm at the Lions Hall. If you wish to reserve, please call Marie at 613-449-4744.
Homemade chili was served by Lions Members to the participants. Fresh homemade buns provided by The Bread Man and dessert provided by a Lions Member.
Thank you to the community for supporting the Lions Hall Renovation Project.
