The 2nd Annual Bellrock Fall Festival was held September 23rd. This year brought an increase in attendance as well as the addition of a wider variety of vendors. Visitors were able to stop by and purchase local honey, handmade crafts, spices, creative wood carvings, dutch waffles and a collection of bath, body and health products. While perusing the vendors, guests were able to take in local artist Mellow Lily performing classic favourites and original tunes. New this year was EarlyON from Rural Frontenac Community Services and the Kingston Frontenac Public Library providing information on local services and fun children's activities in the back field of Bellrock Hall. Rounding out the event was a tarot card reader, volunteers cooking hotdogs, along with a bake sale and cookie decorating. All proceeds from this annual event are returned back into the Bellrock Hall, a local historical building and not-for-profit organization. It is run by a small group of volunteers passionate about keeping the Bellrock Hall operational and available for local community members to enjoy. Follow Bellrock Hall on Facebook to see highlights from the festival and learn more about upcoming events.
