It is with sadness we announce the recent passing of Shirley Silver, nee Schauf, late of Sydenham, in her 87th year.
Predeceased by son Darryl, she leaves Claude her husband of 65 years, son David, daughter-in-law Laura, and grandchildren James David, Hannah and Kyle, and great grandson Rhys.
A lifelong resident of Sydenham, Shirley was a member of Grace United Church and Sydenham Women’s Institute. She taught school in Harrowsmith and Sydenham, and supply-taught from Perth Road to Tyendinaga.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be announced at a later date.
