Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the early hours of Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Smiths Falls Hospital at the age of 82. Dennis will be forever missed by his devoted wife Nancy of 63 years. Cherished father of Tracey Scott (Leisa) of Napanee, Dennis Jr. Scott (Marcie Webster) of Sharbot Lake, late Cheryl Scott, late Robert Scott and late Robin Mercer. He will be loving remembered by his grandchildren Vicky, Shannon, Amy, Ashley (George), Robbie, Cameron, Justin (Jessie), Shawn (Amanda), Joshua (Laura), Justin, Andrew (Ariana), Katitlyn (Jon), Wade (Stephanie) and Trevor (Melissa), as well as his 26 great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Vernon Scott (Diane) of Mountain Grove. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Stella Scott (Veley), as well as his brothers Manley Scott (Ruth), Melvin Scott (late Betty), and Arthur Scott (late Beulah). Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Funeral Center, Northbrook. A family Graveside Service was held in the Bordenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made in Dennis’ memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Smiths Falls Hospital or the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
