Peacefully and surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 31, 2024, at the age of 67 Sharon passed away at Kingston General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Don and Audrey Shannon, her brothers Jimmy and Norman Shannon (Barb). Survived by her sister Anna Marie Robidoux (Stanley), nieces, Jennifer, Sharon and Shannon and nephew Matthew and their families. Loving wife of 49 beautiful years to Mark Alton. Sharon worked at Queens University in the department of Economics in the school of Policy Studies for 42 years and could not have loved her job more. A Special Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at KGH for the wonderful care they gave Sharon.
A Visitation will be held Friday November 8, 2024 at Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church from 6pm to 9pm. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday November 9, 2024 at 1pm at Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church (3876 Harrowsmith Road, Harrowsmith, ON K0H 1V0). Interment Sydenham Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Huntington Society if desired.
