Ellis went to be with the Lord, peacefully at home in Verona on Thursday, July 25, 2024 with his beloved wife Mary Louise (née Montgomery) of 64 years by his side. Loving father of Roberta Rider (Hugh McDonald), Mark Wolfreys (Patti), Dan Wolfreys (Valerie), Jacqueline Potter (James) and Philip Wolfreys (April MacKay). Forever remembered by his grandchildren Randy Rider (Keirstin), Thomas Rider, Erin McDonald (Marc), Jordan McDonald (Kat), Dallis Wolfreys (Sidney), Dustin Wolfreys, Alicia Wolfreys (Keith), Danielle Wolfreys, Jocelynn Robitaille (Ryan), Jason Potter (Stephanie), Jillian Potter (Karl), Zoe Wolfreys (Parker), Zane Wolfreys (Ashley), Megan MacKay and Matt MacKay (Shelby). Also missed by his great grandchildren Benjamin, Brooklyn, Brynlee, Aidan, Mattie, Lincoln, Tessa, Otis, Drew, Archer, Alexander, Grace, Olivia and Felicity. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Mabel Wolfreys and brothers Don, Art, Ernie, Lloyd, Howard, Henry and Len. Also remembered by his extended family Cathy Teasdale and the late Johnny Collins, sisters-in-law Elaine Wolfreys, Darline Wolfreys, Doreen Wolfreys, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
