Passed away peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her devoted husband Bill of 27 years. Cherished mother of Debby Hartwick (David) of Mountain Grove, John Hole (Liz) of Grand Forks, BC, Karen Tryon (Roger) of Kaladar and Chris McDonald (Kane Brisseau) of Chilliwack, BC. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Ryan (Tina), Darcy (Angela), Casey (Shaun), Collin (Tonia) and Hilary (Miles) as well as her greatgrandchildren Jessie, Travis, Grace, Liana, Evelyn, Winston, Alice, Kayden, Jaxon and great- great grandchildren Chantal and Levi. Beloved sister of Dorothy Gray (late Graydon) as well as her sister-in-law Jean Smith both of Parham. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Zelda Smith (Cousins), her siblings Don Smith (late Thelma), Ray Smith and Doreen Warren (late Harold), as well as her greatgrandson Caleb. The family wish to thank the staff of Pine Meadow Nursing Home, Northbrook for the exceptional care and compassion given to our mother over the last year and a half. The family will receive friends at the Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm as well as Friday, August 16, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Funeral Service officiated by Vernon Scott will be held in the Chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow in the Mountain Grove Cemetery. Jean will be laid to rest beside her husband Bill whom she has been apart from for nearly 45 years. Memorial donations made to the Parham Free Methodist Church or the Arden and Community Wesleyan Church would be appreciated by the family.
