Passed away peacefully at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, Perth Site on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the age of 82. Devoted wife of the late Keneth Bain of 56 years. Cherished mother of Jeffrey Bain (Ron) of Merrickville, Kathy Hill (Rick) of Smiths Falls, Jason Bain (Sherri) of Kingston and Juanita Crate (late Doug). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nikki, Matthew, Mark, Chelsea, Courtney, Shelby, Brittany and Bradley, as well as her great-grandchildren Conner, Benjamin, Gracie, Dustin, Kianna, Odin, Ava, Nixon, Colson, Danielle and Marissa. Beloved sister of Jackie Vinkle (Anna), Sharon Sly (David) and Patsy Quinn (Eddie), as well as her sister-in-law Carol Vinkle all of Tichborne. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Ken and Helen Vinkle (Raymo) and her siblings Agnes Jorgenson (late Bill), Dorothy Vinkle, Roger Vinkle and Doreen Church. Visitation will be held at the Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral Service officiated by Vernon Scott will follow in the Chapel at 12:30 pm. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Nurses at the Perth and Smiths Falls Hospital for their exceptional compassion and care given to our mother during her 4 month stay.
