It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an incredible Sister, Aunt & friend, Joy of Godfrey at the age of 63 on April 4, 2024. Loving sister of Jane (David), Kenny (Wanda), David (Leanne). Cherished and exceptional aunt to Paige and Damon. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Wilma Knox. We would like to thank friends Jim and Karen Stinson, Tim Laprade and Joy’s Frontenac Community Arena family where she worked for 43 years for all their love shown to Joy and our family. Thanks to KGHKidd 9, Davies 4, ICU and the Cancer Centre; Oncology and Hematology doctors and nurses for their dedication and care they gave to Joy over the past seven years. Cremation has taken place with Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham. A Graveside Service will be held for family and friends at the Piccadilly Cemetery on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am followed by a Celebration of Joy’s Life at the Frontenac Community Arena.
