Of Plevna, passed away peacefully at the Perth & Smith’s Falls District Hospital on Sunday, January 28, 2024 with family by his side. Loving husband and best friend of Freya Rutter (nee Capener). Predeceased by his first wife Barbara (nee Minnie). Dear father of Michael (Paula) and Nicole. Pre-deceased by his son Mark. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Alyssa, Bryce, Brandon and adored by his great-grandchildren. Gord will be sadly missed by his brothers Clare (Evie), Robert “Bob” (Gwenne) and his sisters Barbie (Don) MacKay and Betty (Rick) Robins. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. The Funeral Service will take place at River of Life Christian Fellowship Church, 7064 Road 506 Plevna, Ont. K0H 2M0 on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00pm. Burial of the urn will take place in the spring at Grace Cemetery, Maynooth.
