We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother (Nansy), Leona Madelon Hasler. She passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights long-term care home after many years of suffering with Alzheimers. She was predeceased by her late husband, Gordon, her parents, Louis and Monica Lessard, and sisters Cheryl Davison (Glenn), Marie Andrews (Melvin), Monica Perry (Fred) and Paul Lessard. She is survived by her siblings Doris Mark and Doug Lessard. She leaves behind her children and their spouses, Gary (Christina), Gail (Paul), Shari, Guy (Heather) and Shane (Jackie); as well as her many grandchildren: Cameron, Peyton, Danika, David, Kirsten, Casey, Justin, Brandon, Cody and Jordan; and great-grandchildren: Alexa, Braelyn, Tate, Everly and Hudson. Friends and family will be received at Trousdale’s Funeral Home in Sydenham on Friday, September 22, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm. A private family interment will take place in Flinton at a later date. Many thanks to the staff of Arbour Heights for their compassionate care over the last nine years. Donations can be made to a charity of choice in Leona’s memory.
