It's hard to move to a new location where you don't know your way around and you don't know any of the people. At first, I couldn't drive anywhere without my GPS telling me where to go and I didn't know anyone to ask for help. I couldn't even run my new home without an instruction manual in my hand (the fridge, the stove, the washer and dryer and the propane furnace were all new to me). I was like a fish out of water.
People I've met since I moved here didn't know how alone I really was when they smiled and said hello. It's impossible to list everyone who's been kind to me in this limited space, but you know who you are.
Thank you so very much.
