Wolfe Ehrlichman in his "Big problem in our society" should have made the second word in that heading plural but he is nonetheless accurate.  (October 15/20 Frontenac News)  

Case in point historically?

Twenty Great Lakes major "shitties" dump more than the equivalent of 100 olympic sized swimming pools of raw sewage into the Great Lakes daily.  These represent a total yearly sewage dump of 20 billion gallons yearly.  

Toronto, Hamilton, Windsor and Montreal are included in this list.  

The volume would fill the House of Commons every three minutes continuously for a year though the sewage flow of the nonsense and idiocy of the bafflegab therein by the LPC rivals that amount easily.

The nation flushes 200 billion liters of raw sewage every year into the same water sources they drink from and bath in.  

This has been a continual problem that Greta has ignored not just here but worldwide and a situation the fake leader of the LPC also has ignored.  Both of these instead opted for a carbon tax on fog and CO2 with the latter being consumed by the crown biomass of trees, which Canada has hundreds of millions of acres of and which puts us in a position of non liability as a carbon producing nation.

So the carbon tax scam does nothing but steal taxpayer money and is a calculated fake tax any government can use for any purpose non reportable and invisible, while monies for the sewage dump problem are not even suggested as NOTHING HAS BEEN NOR IS BEING DONE to fix that big gaffe.  In fact, the LPC approved a huge sewage dump of billions at one shot for Quebec in its first term.

Ignorance is indeed a voluntary misfortune, clearly in the camp of the LPC.
