Ralph Waldo Emerson said "The cheat, bully and malefactor we see everywhere is the government" and that is more true today than ever.

Case in point is the abuse of power for illegal activity, in this case, the attack on the property rights of people who are suffering this outrage courtesy of the system in using tax dollars to impose financial hardship on innocent people whose land is being expropriated.

I always thought expropriation was limited to essential, serious and necessary utilization as in land for highways, intersections, etc.  Yet one wonders how a county can focus their illegal and arbitrary powers on seizing land for a trivial trail which certainly is a frivolous entity that is not only not a necessity, but certainly would not cause danger if the landowners in this case did not want to sell their property.  All this waste of money to accommodate a crowd of trail walkers who could easily find lots of other places to exercise instead of having the same slave masters steal the land under the façade of legal writ for a frivolous purpose.

Injustice under a corrupt system is always in vogue.  Whatever happened to rights of the minority?
