Frontenac County is a great place to visit, and an even better place to live. It is defined as much by its rock substrates, Limestone and Granite, as by the forests, lakes, fields, and hamlets where people live, work and play.

The Frontenac experience

From the northern most tip down to the Islands, the vast landscape that comprises Frontenac County offers music, art, fishing, hiking, canoeing, camping, sailing, ATVing, beaches, snowmobiling, artisan food, festivals … and so much more. The Frontenac Guide offers a way in, for visitors and ‘locals’ – be they seasonal or year round residents, to some of the great experiences that are available in Frontenac and nearby.

Where we are

Frontenac is a region of nearly 4,000 square kilometers to the south and north of the City of Kingston, in Ontario, Canada.
