The Red Barn Zone

The Red Barn Zone, is a food truck located in the parking lot of Myer’s Cave resort on Road 506 at Mississagagon Lake. The Red Barn serves bagel sandwiches and coffee, including espresso-based coffees, from 7am10am, and pizza from 4pm-7pm.

Nawar Hage, who opened the Red Barn as part of her first summer as co-owner of the resort, thought she was doing it to provide a service to the visitors at the resort

“The guests at the resort seem to be happy to cook for themselves, but the local community, tourists and cottagers, loved the Red Barn Zone in its first season,” said Nawar. Keeping things simple, the Red Barn Zone will introduce ice cream this year. People have been asking if some Middle Eastern dishes might be coming to the Red Barn, and that might happen in future years, but not in 2022.

“People love our coffee and bagels in the morning, and they really love to stop by for Pizza in the afternoon. They call ahead and order, or they just stop by. Some people come twice a week,” she said.

Nawar opted for Pizza over fried food at the Red Barn Zone for a couple of reasons. She did not want to compete with chip truck’s near by, and she liked that she could prepare the dough and the toppings each day before opening, and then her staff could concentrate on making pizzas one at a time, quickly and easily, when orders flowed. The Red Barn make artisan style Pizzas with a medium thick crust, varying ingredients seasonal and thematically.

The Cookery

The Cookery now offers amazing artisanal wood burning pizza as part of the menu! Specialty pizzas are available featuring locally sourced ingredients thoughtfully prepared by a talented team and are available daily. Enjoy your pizza on the patio all summer long and look for the Cookery pizza at your local events in Frontenac County!

MOM Restaurant

New owners Yaz and Mike Patel didn’t change much with they purchased MOMs in 2021 and that includes the signature pizza customers have come to know and love. Handmade dough and sauce makes MOMS pizza a meal you wont soon forget and they offer numerous pizza combos on the menu including their speciality butter chicken pizza, a must try!

Finnegan’s General store hosts the popular pizza franchise Greco’s and has quickly become a staple for residents in North Frontenac and visitors to Bon Echo Park looking for a reliably delicious meal to go!
