Of the 122 districts in Ontario, Lanark Frontenac had the 8th highest vote total in advanced polling for the 2025 election.
30,003 votes were cast in the riding between April 18 and April 21, over the four day Easter weekend.
In terms of comparison with other ridings, that total is even higher, because Lanark-Frontenac is one of the least populated ridings in Ontario.
Riding redistribution that came into effect for this election, reduced the population of the riding to just over 103,000, well under the average riding size in Ontario of 114,000.
The advanced vote represents almost 30% of the population in the riding.
In the 2021, when the riding was larger, 21,806 voters cast their ballot in advance.
The final voting turnout in the riding was 63,346 in 2021.
The heaviest turnout in the entire country was an Ontario riding as well, Carleton, with an advance polling total of over 43,394. Carleton was the only riding in Ontario with that drew over 40,000 voters to the advance polls.
Carleton, a neighbouring riding to Lanark-Frontenac, has been represented by Conservative party leader Pierre Poilievre since 2004.
In its various incarnation, voters in Lanark County have has been represented by Scott Reid since 2000. Reid's riding has included Frontenac County since 2004
