A Kingston man faces 10 charges after OPP responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked on Clear Lake Road.
48-year-old, Benjamin Frew, was found asleep in the driver’s seat with the engine running and was arrested when OPP discovered that he was under a lifetime driving prohibition. Break-in tools and items associated with illegal drug use were found upon search of the vehicle and the individual was transported to the Lennox and Addington OPP Detachment for testing.
The man has been charged with: operation while impaired by drugs, three counts of operation while prohibited under the criminal code, driving while under suspension, operating an uninsured vehicle, failing to apply for a permit when becoming a vehicle owner, possession of break-in instruments, failure to comply with an undertaking. ■
