Ontario Provincial Police | Sep 30, 2020
On September 26, 2020 at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers of the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on general patrol on County Road 41, in Cloyne Ontario. Police observed a vehicle stopped in the southbound lane on County Road 41 and initiated a traffic stop.
During the investigation officers utilized the Approved Screening Device (ASD) and the Driver was taken to the L&A County North Detachment for further testing. As a result, Pathmavinthe NADANASIVAN, age 27, of North York, Ontario has been charged contrary to the Criminal Code with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs; and,
Operating a motor vehicle while over legal blood alcohol limit
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on November 10, 2020. The accused's licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
