The Central Frontenac Economic Development Committee is bringing back to life some of the concepts outlined in the Downtown Revitalization Project.
In partnership with Villages Beautiful (and in the spirit of community and patriotism) we hope to unite all of Central Frontenac this summer by choosing to plant red & white flowers throughout our villages. When gardening season arrives please consider adding those colors to your garden beds, hanging baskets, or planter boxes. We are so excited to create a beautiful color scheme that all of Central Frontenac can embrace.
In the next couple of months you will see additional planter boxes and baskets throughout the Sharbot Lake village. We will be seeking volunteers to help for a planting day in May as well as volunteers to maintain some of the community gardens we hope to set up.
Please reach out to Villages Beautiful if you are interested in partaking, volunteering or have more questions! Emails may be sent to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.". For all of your flower needs, we encourage supporting local by purchasing from 1010 Lawn and Garden Centre and Goodfellow's Flowers in Sharbot Lake.
