Saturday May 6 the Sharbot Lake and District Lions with the assistance of Central Frontenac Recreation Committees and Masonic Lodge members did a community cleanup project in Districts 2 and 3 . Districts 1 and 4 had been done previously .
Following the cleanups the Lions served a Chili and Bun Lunch at Branch # 425 Royal Canadian Legion . At the lunch cheques of $ 1,000.00 were presented to representatives of the District 1 , 2 and 4 Recreation Committees for rink improvements in the 3 Districts . District 3 had been assisted financially previously . The joint cleanup was in support of Lions World Service Day.
