On February 21, shortly before noon, officers from Frontenac Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a motor vehicle taken without consent.
As a result of the investigation, Martin Stover, a 59-year-old from Central Frontenac Township Ontario, was charged with: Take motor vehicle without consent; Operate motor vehicle while impaired; Operate motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams; Drive while under suspension.
The accused was released on an undertaking to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston at a later date.
