This Sunday, April 2nd, is Autism Awareness Day. Community Living North Frontenac is marking the occasion by setting up a series of board games, jigsaw puzzles and snacks at the Oso hall in Sharbot Lake. The festivities run from 1:30 pm unitl 4 pm. All ages are invited but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Autism is a misunderstood condition, with each autistic person exhibiting unique behaviours and throught patterns.
As the saying goes - 'If you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person'.
