Brad Douglas of Yourway Lumber and Len Tufford preparing for the 8th Annual Pine Meadow Golf Classic, which will be held at Hunter’s Creek Golf Course on June 20.
This year the winning team will be presented with the Salmond Trophy, in honour of the late Bill Salmond, who was deputy chief of the Kaladar/Barrie Fire Department. Bill Salmond died in the line of duty in the summer of 2007. The tournament raises in excess of $13,000 each year for the community-owned nursing home.
