For the past two months, there have been two extra students at
Sharbot
Lake
Public School
. Song Me and Kyu-Min from
South Korea
have been attending school in the grades 4-5 and 5-6 classes respectively. The two students proved to be math whizzes, and their English language skills developed rapidly over the two months. Song Mi was billeted with the Howes family, and Kyu-Min with the Steeves family. At a short ceremony marking the end of their stay in
Sharbot
Lake
, Song-Mi and Kyu-Min thanked their hosts. Hillary and Ann Howes, and Shane and Jocelyn Steeves talked about how much they’ve learned by having the two children living with them.
