On Thursday, June 26, 2025, Members from the Sydenham and District Lions Club presented a cheque to Heather Rogers, Executive Director of Southern Frontenac Community Services Corporation (SFCSC), marking the final installment and completing their three-year commitment of a $15,000 donation in support of the agency’s Capital Expansion and Fundraising Campaign.
Southern Frontenac Community Services is dedicated to helping seniors age well, in their own community, while also facilitating meaningful connections and providing essential services to families and individuals of all ages. This donation supports vital infrastructure that enables SFCSC to continue meeting the growing needs of the community.
The Sydenham and District Lions Club is a proud member of Lions Clubs International, a global organization that has been serving communities with compassion and dedication for over a century. From tackling hunger to supporting health and well-being, Lions are united in their mission to serve a world in need.
“We are honoured to support the critical work of Southern Frontenac Community Services,” said Lion Christine Kennedy. “This campaign will have a lasting impact on the lives of many in our Community” as we are most fortunate to have this Organization in South Frontenac
Our Lion’s Club may be one of the smaller clubs in area, but we do our best to raise money and donate to causes with in our own community.
