Volunteers are preparing for the 2024 Maple Syrup Festival which takes place on Saturday, April 13th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Perth Road Sunday School Hall in Perth Road Crescent. Adults $12, children $5, 3 years and under eat free. Start the day with a breakfast of pancakes and sausages with maple syrup. Enjoy a family day with children’s games, face painting, tattoos, sucker pole, and fish pond…one of the favourites is learning how to juggle. Visit the famous Votary Sugar House. Also in Harris Hall (right next door to the church) there will be a bake sale, as well as homemade jams and a fine selection of handmade goods.
