Kelli McRobert (Godfrey) and her partner, Tammy Warren (Kingston), managed to hold steady during windy games to beat out 10 other teams and win gold. Well Done! And then on Sunday, Kelli McRobert (Godfrey) and her partner, David Riddell (Brockville), won the Silver medal in a pool of 12 teams, during fierce battles that took them into a final, nail-biting best-of-2/3 match.

Some people have great memories for names and faces. On Saturday, a man who hadn’t seen me in over 25 years instantly recognized me and called me (Alice) by name. I had no clue to his identity until he told me. I must have made quite an impression on him when we were co-workers or retirement has been good to me and I haven’t aged for the past couple of decades. (I wish!).
Bev and Murray took their grandchildren to the Aquatarium in Brockville on their PA day. They recommend this as a great outing for children and grandparents.
