Jonas Bonnetta's article (The Grass is Greener for businesses, North Frontenac Council, May 5) and his mention of the Bergstrome family called to mind our shared history of over five decades on Kashwakamak. As a youngster on the lake, even when trying to prevent my canoe from being swamped by a power boat, I would always look for a positive side - maybe it really was a good time for a swim? In that light I would like to suggest that if the budding plans for a Grow -OP on North Road come to fruition, the MVCA may wish to consider locking down the Doritos concession in North Frontenac as means to pay for their dam problem, rather than calling for yet another tax hike for property owners on 'Kash'.
