The Beach Bash has become a premier country music venue each summer in Eastern Ontario. This year’s event is no exception, with four stellar artists performing throughout the evening this Saturday (July 26) at the Sharbot Lake beach bandshell.

The acts include Tyler Lorette, Sully Burrows, Mackenzie Leigh Meyer, and Jason Blaine.

Tyler Lorette is a newcomer to the music scene, since he is still in his early 20s. His 2024 single, "Ain't That Guy", joined his songs “In the Dark” and “Movin On” on the Billboard Canada Indie download charts. Tyler has been in Southern Ontario playing shows recently, mostly in the Hamilton, Peterborough and Belleville areas.

Sully Burrows is coming off a high from the Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) awards, where he was named Breakthrough Artist of The Year. Burrows is only 19, and his aptly titled “Youth” is his most recent release.

Hamilton’s Mackenzie Leigh Meyer. got her start as a member of the Dukes a number of years ago, and has been writing and performing her own songs for the past 7 or 8 years. She has been touring in Southern Ontario over the past month, including closing out the weekend at Stomp the Bruce, in Owen Sound, on Canada Day weekend. She won the Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) Roots Artist/Group of the Year Award at the beginning of June, at a ceremony in her own home town. She is as comfortable performing her signature rocky tunes with a sharp sense of humour, such as “Dial Tone” and “House Husband”, as she is with some of her more emotional songs like “Your Company”, and “More than a Memory” .

Jason Blaine moved to Nashville in 2006, but has never cut ties with his home and family in Pembroke. Since 2013, he has hosted a golf tournament in Pembroke for his charity foundation, which has raised over $1 million in 11 years for local causes. He has 15 top ten singles in Canada, including two of his iconic tribute songs “They Don’t Make Em Like That Anymore”, to his grandfather, and “Dance With My Daughter”. His most recent top ten song is “The Road that Raised You Up”.

He has had his songs recorded by artists such as: Chris Jansen, Parmalee, Brantley Gilbert, Scott Mcreery, and Madeline Merlo.
Along with the music, the beach bash is featuring the best in local food and beer, at reasonable prices, and a relaxed party atmosphere. After the concert, a bonfire is set to round out the night at this year’s bash.
Tickets are $30 and they are available in advance at Sharbot Lake Home Building Centre, Sharbot Lake Chiropractic Centre, Grays Grocery, Sharbot Lake Pharmasave, Kick and Push Brewery, and the Cardinal Café. They will also be available at the gate.

The Beach Bash is organized by CMAO in association with Seeds Accounting..
