North Frontenac Novice Senators were the 'B' Champs at a novice house league tournament in Brighton, Ontario on March 8 and 9.We easily won our first game against Brighton (it was the weekend of the big storm and we started the game with only one sub on the bench - fortunately 3 more teammates showed up and were playing by the end of the first period!).Our next 2 games were against Manvers and Elmvale, which we unfortunately lost in overtime.The overtime however, was very exciting and the first 2 minutes was 4 on 4, then the next 2 minutes was 3 on 3. Manvers and Elmvale scored during the 3 on 3 overtime.That took us to the B final where we played another Brighton team and had an exciting finish, winning 3-2, making us the Tournament 'B' Champs.Ryan McLay had an outstanding tournament and was named MVP.Our North Frontenac Novice Senators played amazing and we are so proud of all of them.Thanks to everyone for making it a fabulous weekend!
