What a Party! About 200 people sang Happy Birthday and came to congratulate Bessie Tye on being 100 years young! Bessie was definitely the “Belle of the Ball” and managed to hug and greet everyone. Mayor Ron Vandewal expressed greeting from the Township and read certificates of congratulations from various dignitaries. Of course there was a big cake and Bessie had no problem blowing out the candles. Bessie has always believed in community and this was certainly a community event! A beautiful matriarch for a big and wonderful family.
Thanks Bessie for all that you give to everyone around you!
