(SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) - A Kingston resident is deceased after a collision on Gould Lake Road.
On July 24, 2024, just after 1:00 p.m., Frontenac OPP responded to a collision involving a cyclist and a car on Gould Lake Road, South Frontenac. The initial investigation indicates that the cyclist was travelling north, lost control and entered the path of a southbound car.
Despite life-saving efforts, the 58-year-old male cyclist from Kingston was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured.
The investigation by Frontenac OPP is ongoing, with assistance from an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and the Technical Collision Investigation Team.
