Claire Dodds, Director of Development Services, has left South Frontenac Township to accept a senior position with Bruce County. "Both my parents and my husband's parents live there, and this was an excellent opportunity to move closer to them," said Dodds. She was well liked and respected by Council members and staff, and will be missed. Under her direction, South Frontenac has developed strong and capable planning and building departments, as well as a separate program which contracts out Section 8 sewage inspection services to Central and North Frontenac
Townships. CAO Louise Fragnito summed it up: "While we are very sad to see Claire go, we wish her all the best in this new opportunity. Claire’s contributions since she joined South Frontenac in 2018 from a building, planning and overall Township perspective have reinforced collaboration internally and externally and have elevated South Frontenac both locally and regionally."
