Search ongoing at the Point in Sydenham
Police, fire and other first responders were out in force in Sydenham, starting at midnight and into the morning hours of May 11. Among the personnel who were called in were South Frontenac Water Rescue personnel.
In the morning, a helicopter began circling the western end of Sydenham Lake
Police would only say is that they are searching for a missing person, and there is no concern for anyone else’s safety.
Update - Media reports say that the body of a teenaged old girl has been recovered. Foul play is not suspected
