Gordon Douglas Simpson of Henderson at age 76, sadly passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023 in his home surrounded by his wife and children after a hard fought battle with cancer. To the very end dad was funny and made us laugh with his jokes. In his words he “passed his expiry date” after a challenging two year fight. He was the strongest man in our world. Despite the pain, he made us all feel good with his words and positivity. Everyone knows dad was hardworking for his family, a caring and kind man who would give you the shirt off his back. Dad is survived by his wife Katherine, his four children and fourteen grand children. At dad’s request there will be no funeral service.
