Maryann was born on June 14th, 1937. She lived in the Verona area most of her life.
Maryann met the love of her life, Maxwell Freeman, and they were married soon after on September 4th, 1957. Maryann is survived by her loving son Leonard (Nancy). Grandchildren Shannon McGinn (Robert), Josh Freeman (Ashley), and Danielle Freeman. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren; Eden, Ashlyn, Courtland, and Linden. As well as her dear friends and sistersin-law Joyce Clow and Jean Freeman.
Maryann is predeceased by her husband Maxwell and their infant son Wesley. Her parents, Oliver and Orpha. An infant great-granddaughter, Brooklyn. Maryann remained close with all of her siblings throughout her life who have all passed away; Percy, Daniel, Herbert, Sperry, May and Bertha. May she rest in eternal peace with all of these great souls.
Family was the single most important thing to Maryann, she often visited her siblings, watched her grandchildren when they were young, and hosted weekly family dinners. Maryann loved to feed people, regardless if they were full. She will always be remembered for being selfless, she was incredibly giving in every way. Maryann had an infectious sense of humor, everyone was always laughing in her presence.
Special thank-yous go out to all the caregivers that were in Maryann’s life towards the end and the Kingsdale Chateau for providing an amazing service to her.
Maryann loved animals, especially her dogs Toby, Bell, and Tasha. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Kingston Humane Society in her name. A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday August 5, 2023 at the Piccadilly Cemetery, 1000 Oak Flats Rd.
