Although I don’t always agree with your editorials in the Frontenac News, that is ok, we need to keep the dialogue open between people in order to experience a richness in our lives when we are challenged by other’s opinions.
Your breakdown of the lottery system in Canada is a much-needed reminder of both sides of the lottery. But most of all I want to commend you for voting faithfully in every election sine you were legally able to do so. I, also, have voted from a young age, trying my best to assess the best candidate to represent the people in government.
I hope that you will continue voting your opinion, although, as you point out, it does seem like a lottery at times. I truly believe that we need to vote since we still have that opportunity. I think that perhaps there are many people who have grown wary of doing what is right, (especially as they look around at our culture as it becomes more and more unrecognizable). But I hope, as you have ben diligent to continue voting, that others will recognise the privilege we have to vote our opinion and also to voice that opinion.
Thank you for continuing your work.
