As a small business and many like myself that are already in this field, this is a complete joke. Many parks and campgrounds like myself know all too well that the demand far outpaces the supply.
If the municipalities are now looking at spending a million in studies to find an answer that is already known, that’s sad.
If the municipalities believe that can manage and increase their own campsites and campgrounds and say no to small business’s applying for the same thing, then there is a huge conflict.
All municipalities like North Frontenac and South Frontenac need to wake up. This study is a complete waste of tax dollars. There is a shortage and everybody knows it so why are they playing this game? They need to support small business, listen to small business, recognize the benefits of small business, educate themselves and stop playing this game.
