A community begins to split over the topic of gender. Raised on a farm with animals and crops we had a silo. My Dad warned me not to go into the silo after it was filed with ground corn stocks that had settled a bit. The gases were deadly and could kill you. The lesson was hammered home and now I see silos everywhere. The school board is a silo; the municipality is a silo; the native groups; the Christian church and the Muslim as well as the business group etc.. Confine yourself to your silo and you might die. The school lad and his mother are fighting to stay in their silo. It's dark in there and filled with toxic gases. Escape and live. Except the views of other peoples and know they are limited by the walls of their silos. Join the community, be a good neighbour and teach your children not to isolate themselves in their silo or they my die in the darkness.
