Harrowsmith S&A Club Needs Help for Canada Day

It's that time of year once again, when the executive and members of the Harrowsmith & District Social and Athletic Club (commonly known as the S and A Club) begin the planning of our annual Canada Day celebrations in Centennial Park, Harrowsmith.

There is so much to do with so few people. For example, letters of authorization to use the park, booking the inflatables, arranging for entertainment/sound system, coordinating the supplies and workers for the canteen, someone to organize/oversee the vendors village, the list goes on and on.

This year we are asking for volunteers who might be willing to take on some of these tasks, whether it be recruiting and organizing volunteers for the day, calling local businesses for donations and arranging pick up, or just helping out the day of.
