On Saturday, June 1, 2024 the Canadian Association of Wilderness Medicine (CAWM) is hosting a Wilderness Medicine Race at L&A Forest Trails, located at 100 John Street in Flinton, ON.
Teams of 3 will travel the trail on foot, encountering various practice medical scenarios with healthy volunteers as actors. Paramedics, nurses, physicians, search and rescue volunteers, and any other wilderness medicine recreationists will spend a full day honing their skills and practicing in a safe and controlled environment. A big thank you to Lennox and Addington County for allowing us to host this exciting event in the forest!
