I, and I am sure many others, are waiting for the blooms of the spring. Walking around and spotting a little green sprout poking out of the snow always gives me a smile. I rush with my phone and take pictures of that tiny cherished bloom that almost feels like a paparazzi series of shots of a great celebrity in town.

And why wouldn't it be treated like a celebrity? That little sprout represents the new birth of life. It represents the possibilities of what may be yet to come. The new chances that we don't know exist yet, the hopes, the dreams and with all that, and as life stands, the worries and the pains.

That little sprout is proof of life that we long for, and that we fear as well.

So how does this Lions space link us to spring sprouts? Why talk about the little paparazzi tour of a tiny sprout when in fact, this space is dedicated to Lions?

Simply speaking, because we too, at our lovely club, and I am sure at all other clubs in our District A3, are now prepping for the exciting spring season. As our activities start to bloom, images on Facebook and in newsletters of upcoming events will start appearing for everyone to follow and attend. From Yard Sales to Markets and Spring Extravaganzas to Speakers Forum to the Dog Guide Walk and many more activities in between for you to read about and to join whichever you enjoy.

And with every activity that you join new friends are formed, memories are built, and ... isn't that what Spring is all about?

Till we meet again in a Roar, put on your greens, prep your dancing shoes, keep a lookout for all the upcoming activities, and meet us at our St Patrick's Dance on the 16th of March along with many leprechauns.
