Master Corporal Lavery handing out pairs of shoes to Afghan children
The Lavery family from Sharbot Lake approached the Treasure Trunk to buy shoes for their son, Master Corporal Michael J. Lavery, to give away to Afghani kids. The Treasure Trunk decided to donate the shoes. “I really appreciate the donation,” said Jessie Lavery, Michael’s mother, “as does Michael. We look foward to his safe return in the spring."
