Feature Article - April 12, 2007When the world gives you snow...make a snowman!
April 12, the best day of the winter! Perfect snow for rolling and making the magic of snowmen happen. Children at Hinchinbrooke P.S. took advantage of the perfect snow on that day to make the most snowmen ever seen at one time in the schoolyard. Some counted over 50! There were families of snowpeople, Big Mommas and Papas, snowpuppies and miniatures. What a great cooperative day of literal "team building".
As always, we can learn from the pure joy of children immersed in play and creativity. They made the most of that day and left behind a field of magical little snow people.
